In cooperation with Stafford Hospital, Stafford Soccer provides seasonal seminars to keep our athletes healthy and knowledgeable. Faye Krause will be our presenter for the Spring seminar.
Faye Krause is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a licensed facilitator for the Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Program. She is also the owner of Energized Intentions, LLC, a nutrition and fitness consulting business that provides workplace wellness programs, community classes, and individual nutrition consulting services. Faye was a high school science teacher and administrator for 19 years before deciding to follow her passion for educating others through a commonsense approach to food and nutrition. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship through the University of Northern Colorado in 2012. In addition, she holds a Master of Science in Exercise, Fitness, and Health Promotion from George Mason University. Faye believes in a non-diet, small step approach to lifestyle change and uses practical examples and hands-on education to help people of all ages reach their nutrition and fitness goals.
As an endurance athlete, former Cross Country coach, and Road Runners Club of America Certified Run Coach, Faye knows first-hand the impact that diet has on athletic performance. She has personally experienced how proper fueling of the body can enhance performance and optimize recovery. Having completed over 55 marathons and ultramarathons up to the 100k distance, Faye knows that no matter how good the physical training program, the body can only perform at its best when properly fueled. For this reason, she is passionate about teaching others, at any age and fitness level, how to use nutrition to help reach their potential in their chosen sport.
