Dear Stafford Soccer Families:

For the safety and well-being of our participants, and in compliance with the Governor’s orders and Stafford County’s closure of all fields, Stafford Soccer will be cancelling the Recreation and Academy Spring Soccer season (inclusive of U5 Stars and AHPS).  We certainly don’t take this decision lightly and appreciate our membership understanding our sincere disappointment in announcing this unfortunate outcome. 

We appreciate that some families are impacted more than others and will therefore offer each family three options related to fees already paid for the season.  We are also very proud to say that even during this time of lost income for the club, we are continuing to fully compensate our paid employees through this challenging situation.  We are planning to leverage government proposed small business loan programs to mitigate our financial burden, and most importantly, ensure that our membership has a fully functioning club that continues to serve our community, as we have for the past 30 years, when we get through this global health crisis.

The next step for our families is to utilize the link provided at the bottom of this message pertaining to the three choices below. This information can also be found on our website at www.staffordsoccer.com.

PLEASE NOTE - YOU MUST COMPLETE A REQUEST CHOICE FORM TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ONE OF THE THREE FOLLOWING CHOICES:

• DONATE – Stafford Soccer is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are always appreciated. Stafford Soccer will use these donated funds to continue to serve our community; field and indoor space rental, buy equipment, store equipment, fund our Financial Aid program, and many other uses related to providing our soccer programs to Stafford County. We ask that you may consider donating all, or a portion, of your already paid fee to assist us in offsetting such expenses we’ve already incurred for this season.  If you wish to donate, go to the "DONATE" section on the form. You will be offered a thank you letter as confirmation for tax related purposes.

• CREDIT – Stafford Soccer offers you the opportunity to leave your money with Stafford Soccer to be credited toward a future season. By completing the "CREDIT" section of the Request Form, Stafford Soccer will provide a Discount Code that may be used as a credit against future fees for other Stafford Soccer programs. Credits must be used by 7/1/2021.

• REFUND – Stafford Soccer offers a third alternative by completing the "REFUND" section. Choosing this section will provide a full refund for FEES ALREADY PAID for Spring registration activities. The refund will be in the form originally used. If you paid with cash or check, you will receive a check.  Credit Card will return to the same credit card used.

For any of the options, processing fees will not be refunded.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide uniform refunds.

Please note: Processing the volume of these requests is unprecedented for us and will require a significant effort on the part of our staff. We thank you in advance for your patience as we process your requests.
