We are excited to announce that Virginia Youth Soccer Assn has chosen Stafford Soccer’s Jake Porzeinski as the VYSA buddy of the year! 

Jake has been an enthusiastic volunteer with our TOPSoccer program for the past 5 years. He has offered countless hours to the success of our program in many different ways all while holding over a 4.0 GPA at Colonial Forge HS, being a member of the Latin Club, Environmental Club, Programming Club and National Honor Society. Jake is also a member of our ’02 Boys program and is a varsity tennis player at CFHS.

In addition to the many clubs of which Jake is a member, he also volunteers with not only TOPSoccer but, Special Olympics, Stafford County Public Schools and with his church where he recently went to Alabama on a mission trip.

Jake has formed a bond with one TOPSoccer player in particular, John. Jake and John have formed a friendship on and off the field. Jake can also be credited with helping John feel comfortable communicating with other players, buddies and coaches. When Jake and John are together on the field, the two are inseparable and are consistently smiling and cracking jokes with one another. Outside of the field you may bump into Jake and John at Kings Dominion, at a movie, bowling or getting lunch together. Check out some pics of the two of them through the years.
