Recreation and Classic Division Tournament Requirements
There are a number of requirements that a team must meet in order to play in a VYSA sanctioned tournament.
The team must have a roster. The tournament rules will determine how many guest players that are allowed as well as the playing level (i.e., "recreational") of the team’s players and its guests. Here is an edited VYSA player roster form: pdf Excel
All registered Recreational SASA players participating in VYSA sanctioned tournaments must possess a Recreational Player Pass. Player passes may be obtained by contacting the Classic Director and providing him with a roster. Note that SASA can only provide player passes for those players registered with SASA during the current playing year.
Coaches must contact Lynda Compton, Operations Manager at least 2 weeks prior to the event to obtain the SASA seal on the passes.
Most all tournaments require a player’s parent to have signed a medical release form. Only some of those tournaments will require the form to be notarized.
